Auckland Chamber Orchestra
Description
The ACO has been entertaining audiences since 1999. Highlights include playing with Dame Malvina Major, Opera at the Pa, accompanying silent films, children’s concerts, composer workshops, and ballet. The ACO has recently collaborated with tenor Pene Pati and Columbian cellist Santiago Canon Valencia. They have been seen at Film Festivals, with the Opera Studio and Musica Sacra. Peter Scholes loves to pay tribute to classical music composers such as Shostakovich, Nino Rota, Britten and Schumann.
